Joan Ellis Beglinger refusing to be left wing, media puppet drops out, Endorses Michels for Guv

Not a pawn of the mainstream media!

The woman who never would have been Governor of Wisconsin drops out of the race claiming the mainstream media and pollsters were using her candidacy to try to portray incumbent Democratic Governor Tony Evers as the likely victor over Republican challenger, businessman and veteran Tim Michels.

Early polls have shown Evers with a slim edge over Michels and have shown independent candidate Joan Ellis Beglinger running in a distant third.

The Marquette Law School Poll showed Beglinger at 7% with Evers at 45% and 53% for Michels in mid August. Some would argue that Beglinger voters would easily slide their 7% support to Michels. Others contend that perhaps 3-4% of her supporters will split somewhat evenly between Evers and Michels with the remainder favoring Michels. As Beglinger alleged, she was not even included in the June version of this poll.

“With just two months to go, I am in my first poll and the media, who’ve ignored me for well over a year, are suddenly interested. They will try to use me to re-elect Tony Evers and I am not going to allow that to happen,” Beglinger said in a released statement.

“This leads me to the only decision that makes sense, given the choices now facing the voters and the enormous threats we face. I am going to do what I can to help Tim Michels and Ron Johnson defeat Tony Evers and Mandela Barnes,” Beglinger continued.

If nothing else, it is noteworthy that another conservative has dropped out of the race for Governor and thrown her support to Michels in what polls indicate will be a close election in November.
